Liz Johnston is an award winning writer. She has been a freelance writer since 1996 and her background is in journalism as a staff writer for leading national magazines and newspapers in Australia.

Fairfax published her biography on legendary Australian wine maker Wolf Blass in July 2009.

Hardie Grant Books published her food and accommodation guide to Queensland tourist destinations in August 2009 in Explore Australia. Her guides to eating and staying in Queensland will be published in Hardie Grant’s Holiday in Queensland in April 2010.

To celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary in 2009, she wrote a history of ResMed, a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of products for the screening, treatment and long-term management of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and other respiratory disorders.

Various metropolitan newspapers and the popular lifestyle newspaper Brisbane News publish her travel destination articles and images.
